Many activities to support and care for children in special circumstances in Tay Ninh province

On September 12, 2025, the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province issued Decision No. 4454/QD-UBND approving the Plan to implement activities to support and care for children in special circumstances and children at risk of falling into special circumstances in Tay Ninh province from now until the end of 2025.

Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee decided to approve the Plan to implement activities to support and care for children in special circumstances and children at risk of falling into special circumstances in Tay Ninh province from now until the end of 2025, submitted by the Department of Health in Document No. 2162/TTr-SYT dated September 11, 2025, including main activities such as:

1. Child care and nutrition support program (Estimated implementation period from September to December 2025).

- Objective: To promote the implementation of basic rights of children such as: Right to life, right to health care, right to care, nurture, etc. Support children in special circumstances, children at risk of falling into special circumstances, children in suddenly difficult circumstances, children in areas with particularly difficult socio -economic conditions, children affected by natural disasters and epidemics in difficult circumstances, etc. who do not have the conditions to improve their nutrition. Timely help children live, improve their health, improve their nutrition and integrate into the community.

- Subjects: Children from 0 to under 16 years old in special circumstances, at risk of falling into special circumstances, children facing sudden difficulties, children in areas with particularly difficult socio-economic conditions, children affected by natural disasters and epidemics in difficult circumstances, children being cared for at social protection facilities, children studying in charity classes.

- Expected number of 200 children.

Carry out activities to support and care for children in special circumstances and children at risk of falling into special circumstances in Tay Ninh province from now until the end of 2025.

2. Mid-Autumn Festival (Estimated implementation time from September - October 6, 2025)

- Objective: Create equal opportunities for all children to enjoy the Mid-Autumn Festival and participate in healthy recreational activities and help them integrate into the community and develop.

- Subjects: Children under 16 years old in special circumstances, children at risk of falling into special circumstances and children in sudden difficulties with difficult circumstances.

- Quantity: 7,540 gifts.

In addition to the gifts, the Provincial People's Committee will organize a provincial-level Mid-Autumn Festival for children in Long Hoa ward and An Luc Long commune in 2025 (according to Decision No. 4232/QD-UBND dated September 9, 2025 of the Provincial People's Committee).

3. Social Security - Education Program (Expected implementation time November 2025)

- Objective: To promote the full implementation of children's basic rights such as: Right to education, learning and talent development, etc.; to support children to have the conditions to continue going to school and maintain their studies.

- Subjects: Children from 7 to under 16 years old in special circumstances, children at risk of falling into special circumstances, children facing sudden difficulties, children affected by natural disasters and epidemics in difficult circumstances.

+ Scholarship: Children from 7 to under 16 years old who are good, excellent and equivalent students; good conduct. Number: 120 children.

+ Learning tools: Children from 7 years old to under 16 years old are students completing the education program. Number: 180 children.

+ Bicycle: Children from 10 years old to under 16 years old who are good, excellent and equivalent students; good conduct. Number: 60 children.

4. Long-term sponsorship support (expected implementation period from October - December 2025)

- Objective: To promote the full implementation of children's basic rights such as: Right to education, learning and talent development, etc.; long-term sponsorship support for disabled children with part of the funding for them to continue going to school for cultural or vocational training.

- Subjects: Disabled children in difficult circumstances from 7 to under 16 years old, students studying culture or vocational training.

- Number: 90 children.

5. Emergency support (expected implementation time from September - December 2025)

- Objective: To promote the implementation of basic rights of children such as: Right to life, right to health care, right to care, nurture, etc. Provide emergency support for children with severe disabilities, especially severe disabilities, children in special circumstances, children in difficult circumstances who suffer from natural disasters, serious illnesses; have serious injuries, die from accidents, become orphans of parents who then die suddenly, etc.

- The subjects are children under 16 years old in the following groups: Children with severe disabilities, especially severe disabilities. Children in special circumstances and children in difficult circumstances in the following cases: Natural disasters; serious illnesses, other serious illnesses (risk of affecting life); serious injuries, death due to accidents; orphaned by one parent and then the mother or father suddenly dies.

- Number: 20 children.

This Decision replaces Decision No. 2387/QD-UBND dated August 12, 2025 of the Provincial People's Committee on approving the Plan for organizing activities to care for children in special circumstances and children at risk of falling into special circumstances in Long An province in 2025./.
