The celebration of the 130th anniversary of Da Lat's formation and development and receiving the title of UNESCO Creative City of Music is a journey back in time to explore the 130 years of history of Da Lat's formation and development. Meritorious Artist Tan Minh, Tuan Ngoc, Lan Nha, Truc Nhan, Ha Nhi and many other artists will perform here.

Stage perspective of the 130th anniversary of Da Lat's formation, development and receiving the title of UNESCO Creative City of Music

The 130th anniversary of Da Lat's formation and development (1893 - 2023) and receiving the title of UNESCO Creative City of Music will take place on December 30, 2023 at Lam Vien Square, Da Lat City, Lam Dong Province. The event is jointly organized by Da Lat City People's Committee and Bee Communications Company (Bee Comm) under the direction and guidance of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee.

The program is carried out with the aim of reviewing the formation and development process of Da Lat city, to educate about historical and cultural traditions; thereby, arousing the aspiration and will to be self-reliant and self-reliant to develop Da Lat city to become more and more prosperous and beautiful.

At the program, the story of 130 years of formation and development of Da Lat city from 1893 to 2023 will be told through artistic stage.

The first chapter, entitled Dawn on the Lam Vien Plateau, will recreate the daily life, work, indigenous culture and beliefs, and festivals of the K'ho people from the early days on the Lam Vien Plateau. In particular, the encounter between Dr. Yersin's expedition and the K'ho Lach residents is the origin of the formation and development of Da Lat today.

Chapter 2 The Unique Features of the Mountain Town highlights the blend of local culture and culture from different regions brought to this land by immigrants.

Chapter 3 Aspiration Dalat is a working, cheerful atmosphere, open and enthusiastic people as proof that land and people become one.

The event also brought a party of music, light, and dance with the participation of famous artists such as Meritorious Artist Tan Minh, Tuan Ngoc, Lan Nha, Truc Nhan, Ha Nhi, Ngoc Anh, Hoang Le Vi, Ngoc Tram, My Ngoc, Trong Bac, Khanh Linh, Vo Le Vy, Ha Minh ... Along with that was an artistic fireworks display blooming in the sky of Da Lat marking a new proud milestone of the city and opening a new page with promising successes.

The program is expected to attract more than 30,000 attendees. The ceremony will be broadcast live at 7:50 p.m. on Lam Dong Radio and Television, 8:10 p.m. on VTV1 channel of Vietnam Television, and some local radio and television stations.
