While all over the country, flags and flowers are fluttering with the sound of Independence Day music, at the Central Maternity Hospital, the atmosphere is decorated with special sounds: the cries of little angels at birth.
During the holidays, the doctors and nurses here still silently and devotedly fulfill their sacred duty of welcoming new lives and bringing happiness to countless families.
At 0:02 on September 2, at the Department of Obstetrics, Central Maternity Hospital, a baby boy weighing 3.3 kg cried out in the loving arms of his family and the dedicated care of a team of doctors.
The family decided to name their child Tran Quoc Khanh - as a reminder of the day he was born, which is associated with the nation's sacred Independence Day.
Ms. Bui Thi Thu Phuong, the baby's mother, emotionally shared: "This is the happiest moment of my life, especially today is National Day. Initially, I was due to give birth on September 10, but I didn't expect my son to be born earlier and on this special occasion. So on Independence Day this year, our family is even happier with the addition of a new member."
It is even more meaningful when the baby's grandmother, a former military officer, cherished the wish to name her baby Quoc Khanh if the baby was born on this important occasion and that miracle came true.
Soon after, another baby girl was born at 0:29. Her mother, Nguyen Thi Thu Phuong, named her Ha An, hoping that she would always be safe and happy.
Working on a holiday, being able to personally deliver babies for mothers, Specialist II Doctor Nguyen Thi Thuy Duong, Department of Obstetrics and Prenatal Diagnosis shared: “Every healthy cry on National Day is a precious gift. I hope the children grow up strong, love their country and contribute to building the Fatherland.”
Also on September 2, many other babies were born in joy, happy tears and the tireless dedication of the medical team at the Central Maternity Hospital./.
