Relatives of Mr. Le Van Thanh - in Thanh Son village, Trung Chinh commune, Nong Cong district - have just reported to the Tuoi Tre newspaper hotline with the following content: On the afternoon of Saturday, October 5, on the way home from school, female student LVGN - 16 years old, class 11A6, Nong Cong 2 High School - was brutally beaten by a group of students, causing multiple injuries, and had to be hospitalized for emergency treatment.

On the morning of October 12, speaking to Tuoi Tre Online , Mr. Le Van Thanh, who is taking care of his daughter LVGN at Viet Duc Hospital in Hanoi, said: "My daughter was brutally beaten by a group of students, intentionally causing injuries on the afternoon of October 5. While being beaten, my daughter was also stripped of her clothes.

After being beaten, the child suffered a broken second cervical vertebra and two nails on his little finger were completely crushed. He is currently being treated at Viet Duc Hospital in Hanoi and his family must take care of his personal life.

"According to my daughter, on the afternoon of October 5, on her way home from school, she saw a group of students fighting in Tan Phuc commune, Nong Cong district, so she intervened to stop them. After that, my daughter was beaten by many students. This group of students used helmets to hit her head and neck and used their hands, feet, and punched and kicked her, causing N. to suffer multiple injuries.

"My daughter showed signs of being intentionally injured and humiliated by a group of students, so my family requested the police to strictly handle this case with the right person, the right crime, and in accordance with the law to help prevent school violence," Mr. Le Van Thanh requested.

Mr. Thanh added that after the incident, the school board, the homeroom teacher, and two parents whose children participated in beating N. visited and encouraged the family and the victim.

Suspension of studies for students involved

Speaking to Tuoi Tre Online , Mr. Dang Van Hung - principal of Nong Cong 2 High School - said: "After returning from school on the afternoon of October 5, LVGN was beaten in Tan Phuc commune, was injured and had to be hospitalized for treatment. The school worked with the parents of the children involved and the Tan Phuc commune police to resolve the incident. The school also suspended the studies of 6 students involved to resolve this incident.

The school is actively coordinating with the student's parents and the police to promptly resolve the incident in accordance with the law."
