The scene in heaven in front is made of grass and flowers. Behind is a fake mountain and cloud - Photo stolen from clip
"The movie's images are like watching cartoons", "It's like watching fairy tale shows as a kid", "It's scary, like Tao Quan 15 years ago"... the audience's comments were rewritten.
Watching the special effects of Predestined Love is like watching the ancient Journey to the West.
The script of Predestined Love is a fairy tale, adapted from the story of The Broom .
The two main characters are two fairies Pham Trung and Kim Sang. They loved each other but violated the laws of heaven so Kim Sang was banished to earth as a human, punished by cooking for others. Pham Trung was imprisoned and starved for 300 years.

By episode 12, they have gone through many hardships and met again in a "fated" relationship.
The show is currently at the top of the list of top 10 most watched shows and movies. The story, songs, and good acting are the plus points for this show.
However, the special effects in the film were so weak that the scene in heaven looked both fake and ugly.
"The movie is quite good, just the special effects are a bit lacking," commented one viewer. Some said watching the movie "is like going back to the old days of watching Journey to the West."
The trees, flowers, and mountains in the palace are put together quite awkwardly.
The scene where Pham Trung and Kim Sang fall from the sky is so ugly.
Actor Hoa Hiep plays Pham Trung as a fairy with a funny-looking curved mustache and wig.
"I'm a bit reckless"
In response to comments about the weak special effects in the film Duyên tiên tiền định , director Bui Ngoc Nam Phuong, who made the film, said that all of the above comments are correct.

He shared with Tuoi Tre Online : "The audience is right to criticize because other countries have done this genre very well. In Vietnam, there are companies or teams that do special effects very well. The movies, music videos or commercials have beautiful special effects. But they have the budget and they do it no less than foreign movies."
The director admitted: "It's true that I was a bit reckless. The current budget for producing TV series cannot support this genre. I really want to diversify the genre, but this is beyond my ability."
And he still affirms: "When I have enough money, I will continue to do this genre because I am passionate about it."
Previously, the children's series Magical Family aired from 2009 to 2011 with a total of 340 episodes. The series had many beautiful effects and was well received by the audience.
The film invested heavily in costumes and special effects. The crew invited experts in piloting model airplanes in Hanoi to film aerial scenes, then used these images to create special effects. It is known that for one hour of filming using a plane, the producer had to pay 50 million VND.
"The special effects in Magic Family were greatly supported by HK Film Company. If we charged according to the market price, it would still be difficult to do," Ms. Huynh Thanh Dieu, the film's producer, recalled.
Yet after more than 10 years, the cost of producing television dramas remains stagnant despite rising prices every day.
This has caused Vietnamese films today to mainly exploit contemporary social themes. Older film genres only revolve around the countryside. Fairy tale films are wrapped up in a few episodes and rarely use special effects, and if they do, they are not charming.
