Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee Deputy Secretary Bui Thang: Continue to promote positive results in administrative procedure settlement

On the afternoon of July 18, the working delegation of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Standing Committee led by Comrade Bui Thang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, continued to work with Ward 1 Bao Loc and Ward 3 Bao Loc.

Also participating in the working delegation were representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee, the Provincial Party Committee Office and representatives of the provincial departments and branches.

The working session aimed to inspect and evaluate the operation of local governments at two levels and preparations for the Commune Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.

Ward 1 Bao Loc was established on the basis of merging Ward 1, Loc Phat Ward and Loc Thanh Commune (old Bao Loc City). The Party Committee of Ward 1 Bao Loc currently has 74 affiliated party cells, with 1,362 party members.

After officially coming into operation under the 2-level local government model, local officials, civil servants and public employees have deployed tasks to make the apparatus operate stably and effectively.

Representatives of leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors attended the working session.

The basic socio -economic development indicators implemented by Ward 1 Bao Loc have achieved remarkable positive results. In particular, Ward 1 Bao Loc has taken over the old Bao Loc City People's Committee headquarters which has just been put into use with modern facilities and equipment. The Public Administration Service Center has modern facilities, equipment and machinery.

From July 1 to 15, the Public Administration Service Center of Ward 1 Bao Loc has received nearly 1,800 people with 563 administrative procedure files in all fields. Up to now, apart from 13 files returned due to ineligibility, all files have been processed before the deadline and on time, reaching a rate of 100%.

According to the assessment on the National Public Service Portal, Ward 1 Bao Loc scored 75/100 points, ranking first among 124 communes, wards, and special zones of Lam Dong province in handling administrative procedures.

Ward 3 Bao Loc was established on the basis of merging Loc Tien ward, Loc Chau commune and Dai Lao commune (old Bao Loc city). The ward party committee has 66 affiliated party organizations, with 858 party members.

During the 17 days of operating the new commune-level government, the tasks of socio-economic development, national defense and security were effectively implemented by the locality.

The Public Administration Service Center of Ward 3 Bao Loc has received and processed 546/730 files according to its decentralized authority. With this result, Ward 3 Bao Loc is ranked 13th out of 124 communes, wards, and special zones of Lam Dong province in handling administrative procedures.

Regarding the organization of the Party Congress at the commune level, up to now, like other localities in the province, Ward 1 Bao Loc and Ward 3 Bao Loc have basically prepared all documents, visual decorations, propaganda and related tasks to organize the Party Congress for the 2025 - 2030 term.

At the meeting, representatives of the two wards' leaders raised a number of difficulties and challenges, and recommended that the province and departments, branches and sectors pay attention to resolving the administrative procedure settlement process on the electronic one-stop system; standardizing the civil status database; allocating funds for purchasing equipment and machinery; training and fostering skills and professional expertise for the team of cadres and civil servants.

In particular, currently, some land procedures under the authority of the commune level such as first-time registration for certificates, change of land use purpose, etc. are related to land registration office branches, so people have to go back and forth many times, causing difficulties and inconveniences that need to be resolved.
