Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Hong Vinh was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province for the 2021-2026 term.

(NADS) - On the afternoon of January 3, 2025, the 18th Provincial People's Council held the 26th Session (Special Session) to review and approve a number of contents under its authority, including the content of electing an additional Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

The Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council presented flowers to congratulate Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Duc Trung and new Provincial People's Committee Chairman Le Hong Vinh.

The Provincial People's Council has passed a Resolution to dismiss Mr. Nguyen Duc Trung - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee from the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. Previously, on November 12, 2024, the Politburo issued Decision No. 1674-QDNS/TW approving Mr. Nguyen Duc Trung - Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term as Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee.

Next, the Provincial People's Council conducted an additional election of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term. Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council introduced comrade Le Hong Vinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to be elected by the Provincial People's Council to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
