On the afternoon of November 9, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Tran Tu Anh and the working delegation of the Provincial Party Standing Committee directed Nghi Xuan district to join in the celebration of the National Great Unity Day at Lam Thuy village, Xuan Giang commune (Nghi Xuan).

Lam Thuy village has 327 households and 1,080 people. People always promote the spirit of solidarity, mutual love and help each other in economic development.

In 2022, the average income per capita of Lam Thuy village will reach over 60 million VND/person/year, the rate of near-poor households will be 2.6%, 1 poor household, the number of households meeting cultural family standards will be 97%, and the number of sports families will be 93%.

The people actively participated in the national movements to protect national security, and political security and social order and safety in the area were maintained.

In 2023, with financial support from higher levels, the village mobilized people to contribute 140 million VND and 2,100 working days to build the infrastructure of the meeting hall, install camera systems, LED lights... to build a smart village model.
