Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan The Tuan visited and presented gifts on the occasion of Vu Lan Festival at Vinh Nghiem Pagoda

Welcoming the delegation were Most Venerable Thich Thanh Thach, Deputy Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Bac Ninh Province; Most Venerable Thich Thanh Vinh, Standing Member, Chief of the Office of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Bac Ninh Province, Deputy Abbot of Vinh Nghiem Pagoda.

Comrade Phan The Tuan presented flowers to congratulate Vu Lan Festival 2025 at Vinh Nghiem Pagoda.

Vu Lan Festival is an important Buddhist festival that takes place on the 15th day of the 7th lunar month every year. This is an opportunity for each child to express gratitude and filial piety to their parents, a beautiful cultural feature in Vietnamese customs. Here, comrade Phan The Tuan inquired about the health and sent best wishes to Venerable Thich Thanh Thach, Venerable Thich Thanh Vinh, and monks, nuns, and Buddhists for health and happiness on the occasion of Vu Lan Festival 2025.

He acknowledged and highly appreciated the positive and important contributions of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in the province and the dignitaries, officials and Buddhists in preserving and building the great national unity bloc, accompanying the sectors and localities in implementing the social security program. He hoped that in the coming time, the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in the province, monks, nuns and Buddhists would always strictly comply with the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State, carry out patriotic emulation movements well, contributing to socio -economic development, ensuring national defense and security in the province.

On the occasion of Vu Lan Festival 2025, comrade Phan The Tuan sent wishes of peace and happiness; presented flowers and gifts from the Provincial Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to Venerable Thich Thanh Thach, Venerable Thich Thanh Vinh and monks, nuns and Buddhists.

Most Venerable Thich Thanh Vinh respectfully thanks the affection and attention of the provincial leaders, departments, branches, sectors and localities in the past time for creating favorable conditions for the activities of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in the province to take place effectively, achieving many important results. Most Venerable will continue to propagate and mobilize monks, nuns and Buddhists to actively work, produce, participate in social security activities, fulfill their civic duties, strengthen national solidarity, join hands and unite with the Party, government and people to build the homeland of Bac Ninh to develop more and more.
