On the evening of September 2, Bach Dang Walking Street and Night Market ( Hai Duong City, Hai Duong Province) welcomed more than 10,000 visitors to visit and have fun. On the occasion of National Day September 2, many attractive activities were organized on this walking street.

According to preliminary statistics, on average, the walking street attracts from 3 to 5 thousand visitors on weekends. On the evening of September 2 alone, it welcomed over 10,000 visitors.

About 4 months ago, the walking street and night market in Hai Duong city officially opened. This is the first walking street and night market in Hai Duong, 1.6km long, operating from 4pm every Saturday and Sunday with many cultural and artistic activities.

Since its opening, the Bach Dang night market walking street in Hai Duong city has attracted tens of thousands of people and tourists to visit and experience.

Mr. Tran Ho Dang - Chairman of Hai Duong City said that Hai Duong City - a land rich in cultural and revolutionary traditions, is one of the cradles of the Red River civilization, this land has both common characteristics and creates its own unique Eastern cultural identity. With a long and heroic history, it has laid the foundation for Hai Duong to be worthy of being a class 1 urban area.

During this year's 4-day holiday, the walking street - night market has had a series of attractive programs for tourists with activities such as lion and dragon dance, street DJ, music, folk dance, modern dance groups participating in a series of extremely attractive programs. The first walking street - night market in Hai Duong uses the entire Thong Nhat Square, 1/2 Bach Dang Street and 1/2 Bui Thi Xuan Street on the side of Bach Dang River, Chuong Duong Street and Hong Quang Bridge.

The street is divided into 4 sub-areas, named after the four sacred animals Long, Lan, Quy, Phung with the symbol of outstanding celebrities associated with the East. Long sub-area takes the symbol of the famous general Tran Hung Dao. Lan sub-area recalls the politician Nguyen Trai. Quy sub-area builds the image of the two founders Phap Loa - Huyen Quang and Phung sub-area takes the symbol of the eternal teacher Chu Van An. The sub-areas have a total of 50 booths, selling traditional products, regional specialties and street food. The whole route has 3 art performance locations, 1 outdoor activity area and a reading street on Bach Dang, Chuong Duong and Ton Duc Thang streets.

Bach Dang walking street and night market is a project organized in a completely socialized form, with the participation of businesses organizing tourist routes connecting Hai Duong city with famous landscapes and relics in Hai Duong province.
