Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha inspected the evacuation point and storm shelter for people at Dien Chau Primary School. There are 62 households with 177 people, mostly elderly people, women and children, taking shelter from the storm. Next, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha and his delegation directly inspected the sea dike in Dien Chau commune. The Deputy Prime Minister requested the authorities and forces to be on duty at key points and prepare supplies to have a rescue plan in case of an incident.
* On the morning of August 25, right after the meeting at the Forward Command Headquarters in Military Region 4, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha directly went to Ha Tinh province to inspect the work of preventing and fighting storm No. 5. Accompanying him were representatives of the leadership of Military Region 4, Ha Tinh province and functional agencies.
At Hoi Thong sea dike (Dan Hai commune, Ha Tinh province), one of the vulnerable coastal points, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha and the working delegation inspected the actual dike reinforcement work in heavy rain and strong wind conditions. More than 200 officers and soldiers of the Ha Tinh province armed forces, along with militia and youth union members, are urgently transporting materials, reinforcing the dike roof, and inserting sandbags to prevent landslides, ensuring safety before the storm makes landfall.
Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha praised the urgent spirit, regardless of difficulties and hardships, of the force reinforcing the dike.
