To practically show gratitude to veterans who participated in the parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, before the State-level rehearsal took place, Ba Dinh ward served thoughtful breakfast to veterans.

As the central location for this important event, the Ba Dinh ward authorities have proactively prepared a thorough reception plan. Hundreds of breakfast meals, including bread, dry food and drinks, have been prepared to serve the veterans free of charge.
These activities show gratitude and deep appreciation to veterans who have contributed to the Fatherland and the happiness of the people.

Talking with ward leaders, veterans from Hung Yen were moved to say that the arrangement of priority seats and breakfast service for veterans shows the concern of local authorities and party committees for those who have contributed to the revolution.

Previously, on August 29 , Ba Dinh Ward had arranged about 6,000 seats neatly on the sidewalk of Hung Vuong Street, where the parade and marching procession passed, for veterans. Ba Dinh Ward arranged overnight accommodation on August 29 (before the rehearsal on the morning of August 30) for the elderly, children, and pregnant women living far away.
These meaningful actions demonstrate the morality of "remembering the source of the water you drink", a fine tradition of the Vietnamese people.
