(Dan Tri) - At the age of 30, rapper Seachains said he no longer wants to attract attention but chooses to step back to learn to be a husband and a father. That is also the reason why the "Rap Viet" season 2 Champion has been absent recently.

Rapper Seachains is the champion of Rap Viet season 2, leaving his mark with many hits reaching hundreds of millions of views. However, after the competition, Seachains has almost disappeared from the music scene, not performing loudly or releasing many music products.

In 2023, he suddenly announced the good news of becoming a father. Before that, the engagement photo of Seachains and his girlfriend Linh Dan was shared by close friends. On his personal page, the male rapper also rarely shares information about himself, making many people curious.

Recently, Seachains unexpectedly returned with the album “30 the album” consisting of 13 songs about maturity, love and responsibility of a family man. This is also the first album in which the male rapper shares in depth about his new role - a husband, a father - besides the image of a passionate artist on stage.

Seachains said the songs were written, mixed and produced over nearly 3 years, and are a clear answer to his journey of "hiding" during this time in the role of a family man, completely with his wife, children and brothers.

The winner of Rap Viet season 2 described this as his “second child”, after his first son. All 13 songs reflect the true elements of youth, love, transformation and even the “midlife crisis”, conflicts between family and career, friendship, love and the pain of loss.

"It's been more than 4 years since I left Rap Viet season 2. I chose to step back to learn how to be a husband and a father. The music has slowed down but my heart has matured. This is the gift I want to send to everyone, a musical diary about family, pain and faith," Seachains said.

More mature in the role of husband and father, Seachains still keeps the “rap flame” in him. On September 18, the male rapper returned to the music night Run and Calm. The audience commented that he still kept his passion on stage.

Seachains shared: "At 30, I no longer want to attract attention. What I want is to tell my true story - a story that those who have just started a family and are going through a 30-year-old crisis can sympathize with and find a brighter path for themselves.

And further, when my son is my age now, he can listen to this album again as a sincere message from his father."

Seachains' real name is Huynh Long Hai, born in 1995 in Can Tho . In Rap Viet season 2, he was a contestant on Karik's team and won the championship.

Seachains and Linh Dan met in 2020 but only officially dated after 1 year. During the time Seachains competed in Rap Viet , Linh Dan was always by his side to accompany and support him.

The two will hold their engagement ceremony in April 2023, register their marriage in June 2023 and welcome their first child in the same year.
