Regulations on prices of medical examination and treatment services paid by the health insurance fund

Binh Phuoc Provincial People's Council has just passed a Resolution regulating the prices of medical examination and treatment services on the list paid by the health insurance fund.

On December 31, the People's Council of Binh Phuoc province held the 19th session (special session) of the People's Council, term X, 2021-2026, passing a Resolution regulating the price of medical examination and treatment services in the list paid by the health insurance fund.

At the meeting, the People's Council delegates voted and approved the Resolution regulating the prices of medical examination and treatment services in the list paid by the Health Insurance Fund and specifically the prices of medical examination and treatment services paid by the state budget.

Overview of the meeting

According to the leader of the People's Council of Binh Phuoc province, the promulgation of regulations on prices of medical examination and treatment services is an important content, an issue that affects the quality of medical examination and treatment services for the people.

According to the recently passed Resolution, it will be applied to the price of medical examination and treatment services; price of hospital bed days; price of technical and testing services; price of technical services performed by anesthesia method excluding drugs and oxygen used in the service.

Depending on the medical examination and treatment place such as Binh Phuoc Provincial General Hospital; Medical Centers of districts, towns, cities or medical stations of communes, wards and towns, there will be different prices.

Specifically, at Binh Phuoc General Hospital, the medical examination fee covered by health insurance is 45,000 VND. The medical examination and treatment fee at the Medical Centers of districts, towns and cities will be covered by health insurance at 39,800 VND, and in Bu Gia Map District it is 36,500 VND; for medical stations it is 36,500 VND.

The lowest price for a hospital bed at Binh Phuoc General Hospital is 177,300 VND in the rehabilitation department and the highest is 799,600 VND in the intensive care unit for organ, bone marrow, and stem cell transplants.
