Vietnamese Cinema 2025: Tet movies by Tran Thanh and Thu Trang reach hundreds of billions?

The Vietnamese film market in 2025 is placing great expectations on the projects of Tran Thanh and Thu Trang.

In early 2025, the movie "Sister-in-law" won in terms of revenue. In addition to creating a good word-of-mouth effect on social networks, the movie was also praised for its story and the realistic acting of Hong Dao, Viet Huong, Le Khanh, Dinh Y Nhung, Ngoc Trinh... The 4 Tet movies are highly anticipated, because this is the golden time for Vietnamese movies to increase their revenue. Box office names such as Tran Thanh, Thu Trang, Nguyen Quang Dung all gather in the 2025 Tet movie season. They are all directors who have had film projects that have earned hundreds of billions in revenue.

It's not hard to predict that this year's Tet film race will be very exciting, with fierce competition between filmmakers.

Considering Tran Thanh and Thu Trang's two films alone, they have many great advantages.

Vietnamese cinema in 2025 needs quality works, in addition to knowing how to capture audience tastes and constantly innovating in scripts and content.
