On the evening of August 10, Ho Guom Theater was ablaze with light and sound as the 2025 World Police Music Festival took place, gathering art troupes from many countries.
Opening the program, the Japanese Drum Troupe under the command of two artists Inoue Kohei and Inoue Ryohei brought energetic performances by Satsuki Bayashi and Souran Bushi, creating a bustling atmosphere. Next, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Tien Dung conducted the Vietnam People's Public Security Band to perform the works We are Vietnamese Public Security Soldiers (Tran Gia Cuong) and Hometown Soul. Artist Pham Thu Thuy performs Soul of the Country solo with the deep sound of the monochord. The Tokyo Metropolitan Police Band, led by conductor Sato Shingo, performed WP Chambers' On Dress Parade March , demonstrating a solemn marching style. Full of emotion and technique, the Military Band of the General Staff of the Siberian Military District, the National Guard of Russia under the artistic direction of Colonel Artur Garifulin performed Afternoon Dance and Fantasia based on the songs of the Great Patriotic War by composer Vladimir Lyamkin. Artists Anna Ignatenko, Ilya Mastyugin, Evgenia Govorova, Sergey Shabaev contribute to highlighting the depth of the work. The Lao Public Security Art Troupe introduced the song People's Public Security by artist Santi Phimsuvan, expressing the comradeship and strong relationship between Vietnam and Laos. The Japanese Traditional Artists continued to stir up the atmosphere with Souran Bushi through the energetic performance of Inoue Kohei and Inoue Ryohei. The Royal Cambodian Gendarmerie Band presented the piece Keeping Peace , portraying the message of responsibility for maintaining social order. Coming from Saudi Arabia, the Ministry of Interior Band performed a series of signature pieces such as Yalla Ya Wali, Glory of the Fatherland, Rose of My Homeland, Royal Guard March, Police March and Presidential March, under the command of Sergeant Major Jamaan Mohammed Al-Dosari. The Russian Federation Emergency Situations Ministry Orchestra, conducted by Lieutenant Colonel Vladimir Volkov, performed the Russian Folk Song Medley (composer: Aranzirov Alekxandr Gardienko) and The Flag of My Country . Coming from China, the Police Band performed Journey to theIdeal by Ly Chan, highlighting the majestic sound. The Vietnam People's Army Band with Conductor - Lieutenant Colonel Tran Quoc Trinh brought Se chi lo kim (folk song of the Northern Delta) and To quoc cua toi (Chu Huu Duc), imbued with national identity. A special part of the program is the concert of international bands with Vietnamese works under the baton of Meritorious Artist Kim Xuan Hieu, including: People's Police March (Trong Bang) and Friendship Xoe Rhythm (Northwest folk songs). The performance is a symbol of cultural harmony, where music becomes a common language. The music night ended with the flower giving and souvenir photo taking between the delegations, leaving many beautiful echoes in the hearts of the audience.
