Following the 2024 World Beer Awards, Sabeco 's Saigon and 333 Bia products were recently honored at the 2024 International Beer Cup competition held in Sapporo, Japan.
Affirming Vietnamese brand with international quality
At the 2024 International Beer Cup competition, products of Saigon Beer - Alcohol - Beverage Corporation (Sabeco) received a series of awards including: Gold Medal in the American-Style Lager category: Saigon Export Premium Beer; Silver Medal in the American-Style Lager category: Saigon Chill Beer; Bronze Medal in the International-Style Light Lager category: 333 Beer.
Held annually since 2016 by the Japan Craft Beer Association, this year's International Beer Cup attracted the participation of 370 beer producers from 24 countries and territories around the world . In total, there were more than 1,420 products competing in many different award categories.
Previously, in August 2024, Sabeco products also won the 2024 World Beer Awards with 2 gold medals and 2 silver medals in the Lager categories. Notably, Lac Viet Beer was also recognized as the “World’s Best Light Lager”.
It is estimated that from 2019 to now, Sabeco products have won more than 40 international awards, affirming the outstanding quality of the products thanks to the team of Vietnamese brewers who have a deep understanding of the culture and tastes of domestic consumers, and have received intensive training in Germany, combined with famous raw materials and advanced technology.
Thanks to that, in recent years, Sabeco has also continuously received outstanding quality awards such as: 8 Gold and Silver medals from the Beverage Testing Institute (BTI) of the United States in 2023, the 2022 Asian Beer Championship, the Gold medal at the International Beer Awards (IBA) 2019, Gold, Silver, Bronze medals at the 2019 International Beer Cup (IBC), Gold and Silver medals at the 2020 Australian International Beer Awards (AIBA) and Gold and Silver medals at the Monde Selection 2021.
Applying technology, creating a difference to develop the brand
In addition to internationally recognized product quality, Sabeco has also continuously strengthened its brand presence through new and modern ways to reach consumers. At the MMA Smarties Awards Vietnam 2024 - one of the prestigious marketing awards in the marketing field held on October 25, Saigon Beer's Tet 2024 campaign "Welcoming the Year of the Dragon, Receiving Many Fortunes" was honored in 2 major categories: Silver Award in the Social Media Marketing category; Silver Award in the WEB 3.0 Technologies Marketing category for the Augmented Reality game called Dragon Gem.
The MMA Smarties Awards, organized by the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA), recognize outstanding marketing strategies that use technology to engage consumers and enhance brand experiences. By honoring outstanding campaigns, the MMA Smarties recognizes brands that combine creativity and technology effectively.
Previously, in 2023, Bia Saigon's Tet campaign "63 is 1" was also honored at the MMA Smarties Awards for 2 categories: Gold Award in Omnichannel Marketing category; Gold Award in Cross Digital Media Marketing category.
