As a world- leading technology corporation, Samsung is always a pioneer in creating outstanding products and services to bring a better life to users, while implementing a sustainable development strategy with the goal of achieving Net-Zero emissions by 2050. The development strategy towards people, the environment and society is flexibly applied by Samsung Group in each Samsung market globally.

Vietnam is one of the strategic markets of Samsung Group, leading in the consumption of TVs and smart mobile devices. A research and development center of the group officially operated in 2022, actively supporting the production base in Vietnam, which supplies more than 50% of Samsung Group's total global products.

Samsung Vietnam Customer Care is also the first unit of Samsung Group to come up with the initiative to repair the panel for the bezel-less TV line. This innovative solution has been widely applied and popularized by the group to many other countries. Thanks to these efforts and innovations, Samsung Vietnam's environmentally conscious service has helped customers save 1.9 million USD in 2022.

Accordingly, Samsung Vietnam has deployed many optimal solutions for each stage in the supply chain to minimize the impact on the environment and society throughout the product life cycle, from research and development of new products to purchasing input materials, production, distribution, use and disposal.

In particular, even during the product usage phase, in order to minimize electronic waste as well as optimize costs for users, Samsung Vietnam Customer Care Department has turned challenges into opportunities through outstanding creative ideas.

Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoa, Director of Customer Service and National Warranty of Samsung Vietnam shared: “The Vietnamese spirit of creativity, always putting customers at the center and a sense of community responsibility, these are the core factors that help Samsung Vietnam lead the trend of environmentally conscious services in the group. Here, we prioritize repairing components, maintaining product life before replacing to save costs for customers and minimize electronic waste”.
