Therefore, regularly taking care of and improving the cultural and spiritual life of the team of workers and laborers is both a responsibility and a practical solution to contribute to nurturing the internal strength of the Corporation.

When facing difficulties, the agencies and enterprises of the Corporation can cut down on public investment, limit the purchase of office equipment, but do not cut down on social welfare. Thanks to the cost savings, the companies have organized for employees to go on tours, vacations, and participate in competitions and art performances in and outside the province.

Performances and festivals are held regularly to enrich the spiritual life of cadres, soldiers and workers. Most recently, at the end of May, the Dong Bac Corporation successfully organized the 2024 Mass Arts Festival with the theme "30 years of the Northeast march". The festival had the participation of 14 art troupes and 378 non-professional male and female actors who are cadres, workers and laborers of affiliated units, bringing 77 performances in various forms of music, dance and drama.

The new point of this Festival is that there is no participation of core members from the sister units. The actors are completely non-professional, all are cadres, workers, and laborers of the units. In particular, the units have composed new songs about their traditions to participate in the Festival; both conveying tradition and bringing a new breeze of artistic creativity, making a good impression on the audience. Many musical performances with folk melodies are vividly exploited.

In addition, some units have created many new self-composed dances that clearly reflect the functions and tasks of the unit, with high creativity. The dances have a blend of traditional and contemporary materials and collective dances in the army. Many male and female actors have shown their talent, ability to perform confidently, with graceful movements and correct techniques...

The festival is an opportunity to learn, gain experience, and continue to train and improve the quality of the staff and employees working in cultural and artistic activities at agencies and units in the Corporation in the following years to achieve better quality and efficiency, meeting the needs of enjoying culture and art, improving cultural and spiritual life; building agencies and units with a healthy cultural environment.

After the Festival, the Corporation selected 55 core members to form a Team to create 7 performances to participate in the 10th Mass Arts Festival of the Armed Forces, Youth and Students in 2024 in Hanoi. As a result, the Corporation's Mass Arts Troupe was awarded the excellent program flag by the General Department of Politics and was awarded 5 A prizes, 2 B prizes, 1 actor won the award for excellent role, 1 actor received a certificate of merit from the Principal of the Military University of Culture and Arts.

Many member units in the Corporation also have a strong cultural and artistic movement. At Company 790, in addition to inviting art troupes to perform for workers 1 to 2 times a year, the unit also proactively purchases audio-visual equipment for workers...

On major holidays and traditional anniversaries of the unit, the Coal industry, and the country, the Company has organized for workers to participate in sports competitions and cultural exchanges with the Youth Union of Mong Duong, Cam Thinh, and Cua Ong wards to both strengthen solidarity with local youth and create a joyful and healthy atmosphere in the unit.
