Ms. Nguyen Thi My Linh (a tourist from Ho Chi Minh City) expressed that the first time she came to Da Nang, she was suggested by the locals to visit Con Market to buy gifts for her relatives. Here, she chose shredded dried squid, tamarind squid, sesame crackers, and yellowstripe scad - typical specialties.
According to Ms. Linh, what makes her feel secure is that the traders give enthusiastic advice, the products have clear origins, and the prices are reasonable, so it is easy to choose.
Mr. Nguyen Cong Thanh ( tour guide) said that many tourists often ask him to suggest reputable places in Da Nang to buy souvenirs to bring back. Nowadays, buyers are not only interested in the taste of specialties but also pay attention to the origin, quality and reasonable price.
According to Phan Thanh Thoai, Head of Con Market Management Board, the unit always strengthens the management of product quality and labels to create trust for customers. Currently, more than 90% of the items in the market have clearly listed prices.
If the customer is not satisfied, within 24 - 36 hours after purchase, the product can be returned for exchange; in case the business does not accept, the management board will directly handle it.
All products are labeled with phone numbers and store addresses so that visitors can clearly understand the origin or easily contact when needed. In addition, prices are stable even during holidays and Tet.

Every day, Con market welcomes thousands of visitors to visit, shop, and enjoy local cuisine such as rice paper rolls with pork, pancakes, Quang noodles...
Ms. Ha Thanh Thao (a tourist from Nghe An) shared: “Through Tiktok, I learned that Con market is considered a “culinary paradise” so I wanted to visit to experience it. The food here is diverse, suitable for my taste, and I also feel the friendliness of the local people.”
Mr. Le Thanh Dan, owner of the Dung Dinh Camping tourism model (Hai Van ward) said that he welcomes 50 - 200 visitors each month.
Tourists come here not only to relax, sightsee, take pictures in the rice fields, make campfires, and participate in cultural exchanges, but also to experience more deeply the local cultural values.
To meet that need, he organized activities to introduce the culture of the Co Tu people, took visitors to see the traditional weaving profession, and supported the implementation of community tourism projects associated with local people and students.
Chairman of the Da Nang Tourism Association Cao Tri Dung said that, in addition to the need to learn about culture, tourists increasingly want to experience and choose typical local products. Therefore, there needs to be coordination between parties to both improve product quality, promote promotion, and attract investment; thereby creating different values, meeting tourists' expectations and contributing to the sustainable development of the destination.
