Enterprises in Ba Thien II Industrial Park always focus on building green spaces.

Identifying green industry as an inevitable development trend and a competitive advantage to attract investors, in recent times, the province has always prioritized attracting investment projects with high scientific and technological content and environmental friendliness; promoting propaganda and supporting businesses in production activities, building renewable energy, saving water, minimizing the use of disposable plastic products and using environmentally friendly alternative products.

Thereby, helping businesses change their strategies, choose a "green, clean" business direction to create competitive advantages; invest systematically in technology and production equipment to improve processes, towards green production and sustainable development.

Taking environmental protection as the core for development, in production and business, Toyota Vietnam Company, Phuc Yen Ward pays special attention to environmental protection. To minimize negative impacts on the land, water and air environment, the company has established an Environmental Committee, divided into specialized subcommittees to effectively manage activities; deploying a closed green cycle throughout the system from production to distribution.

Thanks to its efforts to protect the environment, Toyota Vietnam Company has reduced on average nearly 6,300 tons of CO2, 23 tons of waste and 25,500 m2 of wastewater each year. At the same time, the company constantly researches, invests and applies environmentally friendly technologies; regularly organizes training courses to raise awareness of environmental protection for all officers and employees; and maintains and improves the environmental management system according to ISO 14001 standards.

Similarly, to achieve the goal and orientation of building Ba Thien II Industrial Park in the direction of a green industrial park, close to nature, right from the design and implementation of the project, Vina CPK Joint Stock Company (investor of Ba Thien II Industrial Park) has always focused on environmental protection as well as creating a landscape appearance inside the industrial park.

Accordingly, Vina CPK has reserved more than 11% of the land area for planting trees, lawns, water surfaces and making roads. Vina CPK has also spent a large amount of money to invest in the construction of projects to install wastewater treatment systems, waste, dust and pollution, and fire and explosion prevention and control according to the law. To clean and collect waste in the Ba Thien II Industrial Park, Vina CPK has established an environmental sanitation team and installed more than 50 trash bins around the Industrial Park.

As an industrial park infrastructure investor, Vina CPK always takes the lead and calls on secondary enterprises to participate in environmental protection and green industry development. Thereby, contributing to raising awareness and responsibility of enterprises in environmental protection.

Up to now, 100% of enterprises in Ba Thien II Industrial Park have signed contracts for waste collection and treatment with environmental companies. Up to 80% of the land area is used for factory construction, the rest is reserved for planting trees and grass.

Choosing not to trade off the environment for purely economic growth has helped the province's economy grow steadily and sustainably over the past years. In the period 2020 - 2025, the province's average economic growth rate reached 7.5%/year, higher than the average of the period 2016 - 2020 (7%) and higher than the national average (6.2%).

The economic scale in 2024 will reach 354.6 trillion VND, expected to reach 390 trillion VND in 2025, 1.56 times higher than in 2020. GRDP per capita in 2025 is estimated to reach more than 105 million VND, 1.48 times higher than in 2020.

With its gateway location to the Northern Midlands and Mountains region, convenient inter-regional transport infrastructure, increasingly complete logistics system and abundant labor force, Phu Tho is considered a potential destination for the new wave of green industrial investment.

Realizing the goal of turning Phu Tho into a green industrial center of the Northern Midlands and Mountains region, the province continues to promote the planning of modern industrial parks and ecological industrial clusters with waste treatment systems, focusing on prioritizing clean, high-tech industries such as precision mechanics, electrical equipment, electronics, agricultural processing, new material technology, renewable energy; promoting administrative procedure reform, creating a competitive and transparent investment environment; training and attracting high-quality human resources, serving high-tech industry and green transformation.
