Strengthening high school education management

On the afternoon of August 26, the Department of Education and Training held a conference to summarize the 2024-2025 school year and deploy directions and tasks for the 2025-2026 school year at the high school level.

The province currently has 94 high schools, with 96,826 students; 5,795 cadres, teachers and staff .

Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training Vo Thi Minh Duyen spoke at the conference.

The 2024-2025 school year is the year that completes the cycle of general education innovation at all levels. Under the direction and guidance of the Department of Education and Training, educational institutions have proactively developed educational plans suitable to actual conditions, meeting the requirements of curriculum and textbook innovation. Schools also focus on innovating teaching methods and testing and assessment in a positive direction to develop students' abilities, helping them become more confident, dynamic and creative.

Head of the Department of General Education (Department of Education and Training) Le Thi Thao spoke about professional work at high school level in the 2025-2026 school year.

Thanks to that, the quality of mass education is maintained stably, the educational gap between regions is gradually narrowed. The rate of students with Good and Fair learning results is improved (31% of students achieve Good, 43% of students achieve Fair); training results have 91.51% of students achieving Good .

The 2025 high school graduation exam in the province was organized as planned, safely, seriously, and in accordance with regulations. The high school graduation rate was 98.36%.

The quality of key education has improved a lot, achieving the highest results ever, at the National High School Excellent Student Competition with 122 prizes (3 First prizes, 17 Second prizes, 40 Third prizes, 62 Encouragement prizes)...

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training Vo Thi Minh Duyen emphasized that the past school year had achieved positive results, but there were also shortcomings and limitations in terms of staff and quality in some educational institutions. In the 2025-2026 school year, the sector will strengthen inspection, supervision, management, and improve the quality of management staff and teachers. Educational institutions need to be proactive and apply many solutions to improve the quality of high school education suitable to the characteristics of the school's students from the beginning of the school year to improve scores and the rate of high school graduates...
