Giving gifts at Huong Ha Nguyet Social Protection Center

On the morning of August 28, the working delegation led by Mr. Lam Van Doan, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee on Culture and Social Affairs, visited and presented gifts to lonely elderly people and orphans at the Huong Ha Nguyet Social Protection Center, Dong Hy commune, Thai Nguyen province.

The delegation included comrades: Do Manh Hung, former Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office, Vice President of the Vietnam Association for the Support of People with Disabilities and Orphans; Ha Sy Huan, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Thai Nguyen province.

Comrade Lam Van Doan presented a symbol of donation of 25 million VND to Huong Ha Nguyet Social Protection Center.

At the program, the delegation donated 25 million VND to Huong Ha Nguyet Social Protection Center; at the same time, visited and encouraged more than 80 lonely elderly people and orphans at the Center.

Venerable Thich Thien Tam, Abbot of Hoa Lam Pagoda (Binh Luc Commune, Ninh Binh Province) donated 2 tons of rice from the Love Rice Jar Program to the Center.

In addition, Comrade Lo Thi Viet Ha, a member of the National Assembly who works full-time at the National Assembly's Culture and Social Affairs Committee, and Comrade Ha Sy Huan, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Thai Nguyen province, also presented meaningful gifts to the lonely elderly and orphans at the Center.
