In Hoang Yen village (Ia Phin commune, Chu Prong district), on the morning of June 6, local authorities coordinated with families to carry out burial procedures for the victims of the tragic accident that occurred yesterday afternoon, June 5. The old level four house of the family of Nguyen Quang Hoa (35 years old, one of the three victims) was covered in a mourning color by the heartbreaking cries.

Looking at the three coffins lying side by side, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Huy (71 years old, Hoa's father) cried until his eyes ran dry, standing and sitting looking at the bodies of his children and grandchildren. For Mr. Huy, this loss was probably unimaginable.

Mr. Huy said that everything seemed to be turned upside down after just one phone call with the bad news. His wife fainted after hearing the news that her children and grandchildren had died because she could not believe it.

"At around 5 p.m., my family received a phone call saying that my son and his wife had an accident about 1 km from home. As soon as she heard the news, my wife fainted because she couldn't believe her ears. I let my wife send it to the neighbors and I immediately ran to the scene. On the way, I kept praying that the information I had just heard was not true, but when I got there, I was stunned when I saw the bodies of my children and grandchildren. To this day, I am still haunted by that horrifying scene. My son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren were lying motionless on the road. That scene was too horrible for me," Mr. Huy recounted in a dazed voice.

In sobs, Mrs. Hanh (Mr. Hoa's mother) eyes were glazed over as if she had lost her soul because of her love for her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Hanh said that for many years, Mr. Hoa and Ms. Kieu have been making a living by farming, going wherever they were hired, working hard to earn money to support their four children's education.

“They loved each other very much, got married and had four children together. Life was hard, but they rarely had any words with each other. Just yesterday, N. was still playing with me, rubbing my back and shoulders, but now…”, Mrs. Hanh’s face became pale, then she quickly wiped away her tears with the hem of her shirt.

Neighbors and friends could not help but shed tears when talking about the difficult circumstances of Mr. Hoa's family. The couple has always been sympathized by neighbors because of their gentle life. Ms. Ngo Thi Tra Giang (neighbor) said that Ms. Kieu is a very hard-working person and lives in harmony with the neighbors.

"Kieu was so pitiful, buying butter, buying scrap, working seasonally as a restaurant waitress to earn money to take care of her four children. When I heard that Kieu and her husband had an accident, I couldn't believe it. How could a good person like her leave so soon?" , Ms. Giang choked.

Also this morning, Mr. Doan Huu Dung - Director of the Department of Transport, Deputy Head of the Traffic Safety Committee of Gia Lai province visited and encouraged the family and relatives of Mr. Nguyen Quang Hoa. Here, Mr. Doan Huu Dung visited and gave the family 15 million VND in support; at the same time, shared the great loss that the family had to face.

The Traffic Safety Committee of Chu Prong district also presented 9 million VND, the People's Committee of Ia Phin commune presented 9 million VND and the representative of Hoang Yen village presented 2 million VND to the family to take care of the funeral of the 3 victims.

At about 4:40 p.m. on June 5, a truck with license plate 81H-010.45 driven by Mr. Hoang Xuan Tai (53 years old, residing in Thang Loi ward, Pleiku city) was traveling from Bau Can commune to Chu Prong town when it suddenly crashed into a pickup truck with license plate 81C-148.74 that was going slowly on the right side.
The car then continued to hit a motorbike with license plate number 81B2-783.37 carried by Nguyen Quang Hoa (35 years old, resident of Hoang Yen village, Ia Phin commune, Chu Prong district) behind his wife Nguyen Thi Kieu (31 years old) and son NHTN (3 years old).
The accident caused the entire family of 3 including Mr. Hoa to die on the spot.
