Information from Lao Cai Province Hydrometeorological Station (at 6:00 a.m. on September 30) said that the flood on the Red River had reached a very high level: at Lao Cai Hydrological Station, the flood on the Red River had peaked at 83.44 m, 0.06 m below alert level 3. At Yen Bai Hydrological Station, the water level at 6:00 a.m. was 34.25 m, 2.25 m above alert level 3. The flood continued to rise slowly, compared to 5:00 a.m., the water level was 7 cm higher.
