Success through passion

For Bui Ngoc Kim Ngan (21 years old, living in Ho Chi Minh City), success is not only due to talent but also the result of passion, perseverance, and daring to pursue dreams.

Kim Ngan has just won first prize in the MC Search contest - UFM Voice Talent season 3, 2024. This is an attractive playground, attracting more than 200 contestants from many universities in Ho Chi Minh City. Before that, Ngan always tried hard to study and participate in extracurricular activities. She continuously received scholarships from the University of Finance - Marketing (UFM) thanks to her excellent achievements. Outside of school hours, Ngan also teaches extra classes.

Loving hosting and yearning to master the stage, Ngan took an MC training course. Although she did not have much experience, participating in the competition with 4 intense rounds of competition helped Ngan hone her skills. She persistently practiced every day, from voice, gestures to demeanor to gradually overcome shortcomings. The training sessions also helped contestants like Ngan improve their professional skills, shape their style and handle situations better. Ngan gradually learned to perfect her own script, contact guests, choose costumes and props. In the final round of 10 contestants, she performed excellently in the double hosting and personal performance. However, she did not think she was the most comprehensive person. "I have put all my effort into practicing and preparing everything carefully to be able to shine in my own way. What helped me win over the judges was probably my sincerity and enthusiasm for the profession," Ngan shared.

The Champion title is a motivation for Kim Ngan to constantly improve her capacity, creating an important stepping stone to maturity.

Wishing to inspire other young people in a positive way, Ngan is increasingly conscious of self-improvement. Ngan aims to create a unique yet approachable style, so that the audience will not only remember her as a young, energetic MC, but also as a storyteller with a loving heart, who knows how to share and spread emotions.

After the competition, the attention people paid to Ngan (middle) was both an opportunity and a challenge. She understood that she not only needed to make an impression when holding the mic, but also needed to know how to create community connections.
