Term 2020-2025: Tuyen Quang develops quite well, comprehensively and sustainably

In the 2020-2025 term, Tuyen Quang province has achieved many important achievements, creating strong changes in the fields of socio-economy, national defense - security, Party building and political system. The main targets and general objectives set out were basically completed, in which many targets exceeded the plan.

Tuyen Quang province (old) completed 14/14 targets, achieving the goal of making Tuyen Quang a fairly developed, comprehensive and sustainable province in the Northern mountainous region. Ha Giang province (old) completed 19/22 main targets, ensuring the development orientation of tourism, trade, services and typical agricultural products.

The work of building the Party and the political system continues to be identified as a key task. Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle is associated with specific and practical actions; at the same time, focusing on streamlining the organization and apparatus to operate effectively and efficiently.

Notably, the two provinces have completed the consolidation of administrative units, merging and reducing 206 commune-level units, terminating the operations of 18 district-level units; at the same time, rearranging many party delegations, party executive committees and establishing two new provincial-level party committees.

In the 2020-2025 period, the two provinces' economies grew quite well, the scale of the economy expanded, and the average GDP per capita in 2025 increased compared to 2020. These results affirm the efforts, political determination and spirit of innovation and creativity of the entire Party, government and people, creating a solid foundation for the goal of rapid and sustainable development in the coming period.

Tuyen Quang province (old) has an average 5-year gross regional domestic product (GRDP) of 8.01%; the economic scale in 2025 is estimated at 55,162 billion VND, an increase of 1.6 times compared to 2020. In 2025, the average gross regional domestic product per capita is estimated at 66.68 million VND/year, an increase of 23.16 million VND compared to 2020; Industrial production value (2010 comparable prices) reaches 27,700 billion VND, an average 5-year growth rate of 14.9%; Agricultural, forestry and fishery production value reaches 11,855.4 billion VND, an average 5-year growth rate of 5.1%; Service production value reaches 18,999 billion VND, an average 5-year growth rate of 8.23%.

Ha Giang province (old) has an average 5-year gross regional domestic product (GRDP) of 5.9%; the economic scale in 2025 is estimated at 40,950 billion VND, an increase of 1.58 times compared to 2020. In 2025, the average gross regional domestic product per capita is estimated at 45 million VND/year, an increase of 15.2 million VND compared to 2020; Industrial production value (2010 comparable prices) reaches 11,833 billion VND, an average 5-year growth rate of 6.63%; Agricultural, forestry and fishery production value reaches 9,550 billion VND, an average 5-year growth rate of 4.63%; Service production value reaches 14,039 billion VND, an average 5-year growth rate of 7.74%.

Tuyen Quang: Ready for the 1st Provincial Party Congress

The first Congress of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, officially took place from today (September 23) to September 24. This is an important political event, opening up new development aspirations for the northernmost province.

With great significance, the preparation work for the congress has been carried out urgently, seriously and responsibly by the entire political system. Up to now, the basic tasks have been completed, Tuyen Quang is ready for the big festival.

Tuyen Quang Provincial Convention Center, where the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, took place.

In particular, the drafting of congress documents is identified as a central task. Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee thoroughly grasps the viewpoint: documents not only serve the political system but also must reflect real life, express the aspirations and wishes of the people and businesses. Documents are prepared in the spirit of democracy, promoting collective intelligence, creating high consensus.

The draft documents have gone through many rounds of extensive consultation with current and former provincial leaders, key officials, and 26 comments from central ministries, departments and branches.

After 8 revisions and supplements, the documents submitted to the congress were completed, including the political report reviewing the implementation of the Resolution for the 2020-2025 term, identifying goals to 2030 and vision to 2045.

The Congress has the theme: "Promoting the tradition of the revolutionary homeland; continuing to improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization and Party members; developing the socio-economy rapidly and sustainably, closely linked with maintaining national defense, security and foreign affairs; accompanying the whole country in the era of national growth" , with the motto: "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Breakthrough - Development" .

With the goal of: Maintaining solidarity, building a clean and strong Party and political system; strengthening national defense and security; promoting potential, advantages, resources and new development space; ensuring social security, improving people's lives. Tuyen Quang strives to become a fairly developed, comprehensive, sustainable province with high average income by 2030; by 2045, a developed province with high income in the midland and mountainous region of the North; self-reliant, confident in the new era, prosperous and happy development.

The logistics for the congress have been carefully prepared, from accommodation for delegates and guests, medical plans, food hygiene and safety to upgrading the facilities of the Provincial Information and Conference Center. About 500 official delegates and guests have had a detailed reception and arrangement plan.

At the same time, the authorities have strengthened their control of the situation, maintained stability right at the grassroots level, and prevented the emergence of hot spots and mass protests. Security plans have been deployed synchronously, with forces on duty 24/7 at the congress venue.

The atmosphere of welcoming the congress was present in all the streets and villages. The provincial capital and many localities were decorated with flags, banners and slogans. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism alone deployed nearly 1,200 flags, red flags and iron-framed streamers on the central streets.

With careful and serious preparation and a vibrant atmosphere everywhere, Tuyen Quang is ready for the 1st Provincial Party Congress, ready to enter a new term with the aspiration for breakthrough and sustainable development, accompanying the whole country in rising up in the new era.
