Establishment of the "For the Poor" Fund Mobilization Committee of Da Nang City

DNO - On the morning of July 30, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City, Le Tri Thanh, chaired the announcement of the establishment of the Mobilization Committee for the Fund "For the Poor" of Da Nang City and held a meeting to collect comments on the draft regulations for mobilizing, managing and using the fund.

The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city announced the decision to establish the Mobilization Committee and the Working Group to support the Mobilization Committee of the City's "For the Poor" Fund.

The city's "For the Poor" Fund Mobilization Committee consists of 15 members, with Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city Le Tri Thanh as Head of the Committee.

The working group consists of 8 members, headed by Vice President of the City Women's Union, Head of the Propaganda and Social Work Department of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Le Thi Anh Nguyet.

* On the same day, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city announced the decision to establish a 10-member city relief mobilization committee. Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city Le Tri Thanh is the head of the committee.

The Committee is responsible for presiding over, coordinating the organization, mobilizing, receiving, distributing and using voluntary contributions to support overcoming difficulties caused by natural disasters, epidemics and incidents; supporting patients with serious illnesses, ensuring timeliness, right purpose and right target.

At the meeting, delegates contributed many opinions on mobilization methods, fund usage regulations; support levels for specific target groups; experience in mobilization, management and use of the "For the Poor" Fund.

Concluding the meeting, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city Le Tri Thanh accepted and clarified the comments; at the same time, requested the Drafting Team to soon complete the draft regulations for synchronous and unified implementation.
