Mr. Nguyen Truc Son - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee spoke at the conference.

Attending the meeting were Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade; Mr. Dao Hoa Binh - Deputy General Director of Southern Power Corporation; leaders of Vinh Long Power Company; provincial departments, branches and sectors and People's Committees of Ba Tri, An Hiep, Thanh Phu and Ngu Lac communes.

According to Vinh Long Electricity Company, the province currently has two 110kV power grid projects that are behind schedule. Specifically, the 110kV Ba Tri-Binh Thanh line project (18km long, 57 pole positions, capital of 185 billion VND) to reduce power loss, meet the load and connect renewable energy sources, has energized some items but 7/52 pole positions still do not have land; of which, Thanh Phu commune still has 109/218 cases that have not had their compensation plans approved due to problems in determining land prices; Ba Tri and An Hiep communes do not have a basis for making advance payments to households.

The 110kV Road Project of Duyen Hai 220kV Station (nearly 4.5km long, 18 tower positions, capital of 64.7 billion VND) aims to exploit the station load and develop the load of the area; phase 1 has been completed, phase 2 (wire pulling part) is expected to be completed in September 2025, but there are still 4 households that have not agreed on the support level.

At the meeting, delegates proposed to coordinate to speed up the approval of compensation plans; review legal documents, consider compulsory land recovery, and construction protection; study and develop plans for using temporarily borrowed land; consider adjusting the plan to complete energizing and wiring projects by October 2025...

In his concluding remarks, Mr. Nguyen Truc Son acknowledged the efforts of the units in management and operation in recent times, but emphasized that site clearance for power projects still has many limitations.

It is recommended that departments, branches and localities urgently coordinate and speed up the progress of site clearance for 110kV power grid projects, implementing the spirit of " clear people, clear work, clear results" so that the project is not interrupted; at the same time, strengthen mobilization and contact with people in conjunction with ensuring security and order; review land recovery records, publicize price plans and promptly hand over the site to the construction unit.

The Department of Industry and Trade presides over, monitors, and supports the removal of difficulties in localities. This is a project of great significance to the socio -economic development of the province, so it is necessary to strengthen management, operation, and synchronous coordination to complete the set targets and plans.
