Vietravel Airlines 'moves to' T3, old Tan Son Nhat terminal has only 1 airline left

Vietravel Airlines has just successfully organized an event to mark the transfer of all domestic flights to Terminal T3 - Tan Son Nhat Airport. Thus, up to now, 4/5 Vietnamese airlines have completely 'moved house' to the new terminal.

Flight number VU750 departing from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi today (August 21) marks the official operation of Vietravel Airlines at Terminal T3 - Tan Son Nhat Airport.

Vietravel Airlines has just officially operated all domestic flights at Terminal T3.

At this new terminal, Vietravel Airlines arranges the check-in area from counters 25 - 31 (entering gates D1, D2), the departure gates of flights will flexibly change from gate 1 to gate 5 (on the 1st floor). Premium class passengers will use 2 lounges: SH Lounge and The Sens. The airline's last-minute ticket counter is located right at gate D1 for passengers to conveniently access when needed.

Speaking at the event, Vietravel Airlines General Director Dao Duc Vu shared: “The transition to Terminal T3 is not just an infrastructure change. This is a strategic turning point, marking the beginning of the application of a complete aviation technology ecosystem. From these first steps, Vietravel Airlines will gradually improve the passenger experience, making each flight not only a journey, but also a connected, convenient and inspiring experience.”

Recently, from 0:00 on August 18, Bamboo Airways has also officially transferred all domestic flight operations from Terminal T1 to Terminal T3. Bamboo Airways flights are checked in at counters 45 - 50 (opposite to gates D2 and D3 of Terminal T3, Tan Son Nhat International Airport) and flexibly expanded within the area from counters 43 - 52 according to actual output and demand. The airline's last-minute ticket counter will be located right at gate D2 for passengers to conveniently access when needed.

Meanwhile, Vietnam Airlines has just completed transferring all domestic flights of Vietnam Airlines Group (including Vietnam Airlines, Pacific Airlines and Vasco) to operate at Terminal T3. Accordingly, Vietnam Airlines passengers check in at counters 56 - 109; Pacific Airlines passengers are expected to check in at counters 11 - 18; Vasco passengers and Vietnam Airlines flights on the route between Ho Chi Minh City - Con Dao, Rach Gia, Ca Mau will check in at counters 19 - 24. In addition, 22 automatic check-in kiosks are located at the terminal to help passengers of all three airlines be proactive and save time when checking in.

Thus, up to now, only Vietjet Air is still maintaining domestic flight operations at Terminal T1 of Tan Son Nhat Airport. This unit has not announced plans to move to the new terminal.
