As of September 24, the Cay bridge project has reached 45% of the construction volume.

By September 24, the construction unit had completed 32 bored piles of 2 piers under the river, completed the construction of all left and right T2 piers, completed casting 48/48 super-T girders and all 12 M1 abutment piles. The construction rate is estimated at 45% of the volume, ensuring progress.

After storm No. 3 and its circulation caused heavy rain, the water level of the Sat River rose, affecting some construction items of the project. Although the construction unit has adjusted the construction schedule, focusing on construction items that can be deployed to ensure safety, the high and fast-flowing river water makes it difficult to transport materials. If this situation continues, it will affect the construction progress of the project.

Currently, this project is stuck with the construction site of the T3 pier and the M2 pier on the Binh Giang district side, which involves nearly ten households in Hung Thang commune. The investor and contractor requested Binh Giang district to promptly hand over the site for construction, ensuring the progress of completing the bridge construction as planned in April 2025.

The Cay Bridge construction investment project belongs to the bypass of Provincial Road 394, Hai Duong Province, connecting Cam Dong Commune (Cam Giang) and Hung Thang Commune (Binh Giang). The project is invested by the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board.

The scale of the construction project is a level II plain road; the design speed is 80km/h. The bridge is permanently built with prestressed reinforced concrete, the bridge width is 30m, divided into 2 separate bridge units. The total length of the bridge is 182m with 4 Super-T girder spans. The project will be implemented from March 2024.
