Lam Thao town mobilized people to contribute more than 14.8 billion VND to build a civilized urban area.

Implementing the Project to build Lam Thao town, Lam Thao district to meet civilized urban standards, Lam Thao town has mobilized and effectively used investment resources from the State budget and mobilized resources from the people to invest in infrastructure construction, thereby creating an increasingly spacious and modern urban appearance.

People of Zone 12, Lam Thao town, Lam Thao district renovated the roads to create a green, clean and beautiful landscape.

Specifically, the town has mobilized people to donate over 3,100 square meters of land and 1,500 working days, demolishing 3,982 square meters of fences to expand traffic routes. From 2023 to now, the total resources mobilized to build a civilized urban area in the town is 402,618 billion VND, of which the provincial budget is 7.5 billion VND, the district budget is over 301 billion VND, the town budget is over 72 billion VND; mobilized from the people are 14,850 billion VND and 34,240 working days worth nearly 6.85 billion VND.

Through self-assessment of the total criteria for civilized urban towns, by December 2024, the town had built and completed 9/9 criteria with 52/52 targets, reaching 100% of the plan. The entire town currently has 9/9 residential areas recognized by the District People's Committee as model civilized areas.
