On the afternoon of February 29, Thieu Hoa district organized a meeting with Party cell secretaries and village (sub-area) chiefs in the district in 2024.

Overview of the meeting

Currently, Thieu Hoa district has 223 Party cell secretaries and village (sub-region) chiefs. With the motto "Party members go first, the village follows", through many specific and practical actions, Party cell secretaries and village (sub-region) chiefs in the district have affirmed their role in leading and organizing the implementation of tasks in all areas of social life. Thereby, many typical and outstanding collective and individual models have emerged, creating a spread in the community, contributing significantly to the socio -economic development results of the district.

In 2023, Thieu Hoa district completed and exceeded the plan of 27/27 targets, of which 14 targets exceeded the plan. Party cell secretaries and village (sub-area) chiefs mobilized 1,462 households to donate over 24,235 ^m2 of land, contributing 50.155 billion VND, nearly 20,000 working days, pouring concrete, paving roads, and beautifying rural and urban landscapes in a synchronous, modern, and civilized direction.

At the meeting, the Party cell secretaries and village (sub-region) heads shared experiences and good practices in propaganda and mobilization work to mobilize people to participate in building advanced new rural areas, model new rural areas, and donating land to expand rural roads...

Comrade Nguyen Van Bien, Provincial Party Committee member, District Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the District People's Council spoke at the conference.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Nguyen Van Bien, Provincial Party Committee member, District Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of Thieu Hoa District People's Council acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions of the team of Party cell secretaries and village (sub-area) heads to the development of the district.

The conference is an opportunity for the Party Committee and the government of Thieu Hoa district to listen to the legitimate thoughts and aspirations of the team of Party cell secretaries and village (sub-region) chiefs in performing their tasks; to honor and commend typical examples, good experiences, and creative ways of organizing and implementing tasks at the grassroots level.

District leaders awarded certificates of merit to groups and individuals.

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Thieu Hoa district awarded Certificates of Merit to 31 individuals and 23 collectives with outstanding achievements in the movement to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas in 2023.
