Technology news site Mashable SE Asia cited many reports, along with some leaked rumors, showing that Samsung seems to be "conservative" with the 5,000 mAh battery. If this is true, the Korean technology giant will mark the sixth consecutive year without any battery upgrades on the S series.
The bright spot is that the S26 Ultra will likely support 65W fast charging, a step up from the current 45W.
Not only about battery capacity, the design of the Galaxy S26 Ultra according to rumors will also disappoint many Sam-fans.
Previously, the Galaxy S25 Ultra product caused controversy because of its more rounded edges, making many people think of the iPhone, then the S26 Ultra is said to go even further on this path.
Leaked rumors suggest the device may have even more rounded corners, losing the square, masculine look that has become a trademark.
There was a time when iPhone users even sought out square cases just to mimic the Galaxy's signature look.
