The People's Committee of Quang Tri province has agreed to direct relevant departments and branches to widely publicize information about the train itinerary and schedule, mobilize and guide cadres, civil servants and employees to register their travel needs by rail, as a basis for the Railway Transport Joint Stock Company to arrange suitable and effective means and human resources.
After the trial period, the two sides will summarize and evaluate the actual effectiveness, thereby proposing the optimal and long-term solution.
The planned trial run of the new train after the merger of Quang Tri and Quang Binh is being held in the context of implementing the Party and State's policy on reorganizing administrative units at all levels and building a two-level local government organization model, in which Quang Tri and Quang Binh provinces will be merged into a new administrative unit, Quang Tri province.
The new Quang Tri province's political-administrative center will be located in the current Quang Binh province. The new government apparatus will officially begin operating from July 1./.
