Food prices do not fluctuate much after Tet

Currently, the price of pork ranges from 110,000 - 150,000 VND/kg; beef from 250,000 - 280,000 VND/kg; ready-made industrial chicken from 70,000 - 90,000 VND/kg; shrimp from 150,000 - 330,000 VND/kg; the price of chicken and duck eggs ranges from 27,000 - 32,000 VND/dozen...

Fish is also a fresh food item chosen by many consumers. Specifically, white carp is 80,000 - 90,000 VND/kg, black carp is 120,000 - 150,000 VND/kg, common carp is 75,000 - 85,000 VND/kg.

Fresh foods such as fish and shrimp are sold by traders at the market.

As for green vegetables, if the price of this item increased by 30 - 50% in the same period last month, it has now almost "cooled down". "I started selling vegetables on the afternoon of the second day of Tet. Generally, vegetable prices increased slightly by about 10-15% in the two days after Tet, but from the fifth day, vegetable prices returned to normal," said Ms. Yen, a vendor at Nhan Chinh market.
