Cambridge Assessment English certificate brand changes name

DNVN - Cambridge University Press & Assessment officially changed the brand name of its English certificate from “Cambridge Assessment English” to a shorter and more recognizable name: “Cambridge English”.

The new brand now appears on all certificates issued for Cambridge English exams, marking an important milestone in enhancing brand recognition and simplifying the exam experience for students.

From now on, all English certificates issued will display the new brand name Cambridge English. This change applies to all Cambridge certificates, including: A2 Key Certificate; B1 Preliminary Certificate; B2 First Certificate; C1 Advanced Certificate; C2 Proficiency Certificate.

Alongside the new brand name, Cambridge English has also updated the design of its English qualifications to improve security, and to present a clearer layout and format of names, thereby increasing the recognition and trust of Cambridge English qualifications globally.

Ms. Le Thi Le Huyen, Country Director of Cambridge University Press & Assessment in Vietnam, shared: “The new name Cambridge English will help learners, educational institutions and employers easily recognize and trust the quality of the English certificate system provided by Cambridge. This change helps strengthen the link between our exams and the world-famous Cambridge brand, ensuring that the certificate continues to open up more opportunities for learners.”

In addition, Cambridge University Press & Assessment recommends that all students, educational institutions and partners only communicate with email addresses ending in “@cambridge.org”. Information from all other email addresses should be carefully considered to avoid online scams.

Cambridge English's research- based English tests not only open doors to higher education but also improve employment opportunities, providing internationally recognised evidence of English language proficiency.
