Received over 500 units of blood at the voluntary blood donation festival in Yen Mo district

On October 15, the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation of Yen Mo district organized the second voluntary blood donation festival in 2023 with the message "Donate blood - give life".

In order for the blood donation festival to achieve high results, the district's voluntary blood donation campaign committee has developed a plan and specific content, and at the same time widely deployed it to implementing units. The Red Cross at all levels in the area has focused on promoting the purpose and meaning of donating blood to save lives.

The district's voluntary blood donation campaign committee also sets out guidelines for agencies, units, communes and towns to promote forces to voluntarily participate in blood donation.

With these efforts, the second voluntary blood donation festival attracted over 600 volunteers to register to donate blood. As a result, the Provincial General Hospital received 520 units of blood. This precious blood source will be used promptly in emergency and treatment for patients in need of blood at medical facilities in the area.
