As of the evening of September 18, The Gioi Di Dong 's Topzone system website recorded more than 94,500 customers who had placed deposits to buy iPhone 17 versions.

Although FPT Shop system did not announce specific numbers, it said that the first phase deposit amount was very good, showing the great attraction of iPhone.

“With the current growth rate, the number of deposits could double compared to the same period last year. In particular, the number of customers placing deposits is still increasing sharply every hour,” said a representative of FPT Shop.

"Based on the number of customers who have placed deposits, FPT Shop and F.Studio by FPT have high expectations for iPhone purchasing power this year. The new product has many improvements in design, camera and color, creating strong attraction right from the beginning," said a representative of FPT Shop.

Minh Tuan Mobile system said it has received more than 18,000 pre-orders for iPhone 17 and iPhone Air after 1 week of opening orders, nearly 12% higher than the iPhone 16 series generation last year. Of which, iPhone 17 Pro Max accounts for a large proportion of orders, with the 256GB version and the new cosmic orange color attracting the most customers.

"Notably, the iPhone Air version recorded a fairly high order rate among young customers of the Gen Z generation," said a representative of Minh Tuan Mobile.

According to a representative of the Mobile World system, as of September 18, the total number of deposits on all platforms (store systems, websites, online channels...) is nearly 27,000 customers.

Another genuine retail system, CellphoneS, also revealed that it has received more than 20,000 orders for the iPhone 17 series, mostly iPhone 17 Pro Max 256GB.

Meanwhile, a representative of the 24hStore system shared that after more than 6 days of opening the portal, it recorded more than 20,000 registrations for iPhone 17 and iPhone Air, of which iPhone 17 Pro Max accounted for 90.6%.

"Most customers choose the 256GB version, especially in the iPhone 17, iPhone Air and iPhone 17 Pro Max. With the Pro line, there is still a significant group choosing 512GB or 1TB, reflecting the need for more storage among pragmatic customers interested in content creation or intensive use," commented a 24hStore representative.
