Carrying out the task of protecting justice, human rights, civil rights, and the socialist regime, in recent times, the People's Court of Nhu Xuan district has focused on implementing breakthrough solutions to improve the quality of trial work.
Nhu Xuan District People's Court has successfully organized online trials in accordance with Resolution No. 33/2021/QH15 of the National Assembly .
The People's Court of Nhu Xuan district currently has 7 civil servants. The unit has focused on building a united and strong Party cell, innovating a disciplined working style according to industry standards. Continuing to innovate administrative and judicial procedures, ensuring publicity and transparency in activities. Closely coordinating with judicial agencies, promptly bringing complicated cases to trial, resolutely and strictly trying all types of crimes related to social evils. At the same time, selecting key cases to speed up the investigation and prosecution process, ensuring the time and quality of settlement and trial.
Comrade Ngo Cong Tuan, Chief Justice of the People's Court of Nhu Xuan district, said: In order for the Court to truly be the support of the people in protecting justice, improving the quality of settlement and trial work is a very important requirement. Therefore, the unit focuses on thoroughly disseminating solutions to all cadres, civil servants and strictly implementing them. In particular, gradually overcoming limitations and resolving problems arising from practical operations. Implementing judicial reform according to Resolution No. 27 of the Party Central Committee on continuing to build and perfect the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in the new period; well implementing the Law on Mediation and Dialogue at Court. The emulation movements: "For Justice", "Serving the public, upholding the law, being impartial and impartial"... are actively deployed by the unit. Strengthening propaganda, dissemination and education of the law through court sessions, opening online court sessions and mobile trials.
The People's Court of Nhu Xuan district has actively coordinated with the Police Investigation Agency and the Procuracy to improve the quality of trials and promptly correct the limitations in the process of accepting and handling criminal cases. With the focus on speeding up the settlement process while still ensuring the quality of trials, all criminal cases are handled correctly, with the right person, the right crime, and the right law. In resolving civil and family cases, the People's Court of the district strictly implements procedural procedures right from the time of receiving the petition, assigning judges and secretaries to spend time investigating and detecting conflicts, and finding appropriate solutions to organize mediation. Thanks to that, the successful mediation rate is over 90%.
A highlight in the activities of the People's Court of Nhu Xuan district is the successful application of virtual assistant software in adjudication. Through the software, judges of the People's Court of the district have additional support tools, can exploit reliable sources of legal knowledge to make appropriate and fair decisions. Currently, 100% of the judges of the unit participate in asking questions and answering interactively on the virtual assistant software. Thereby, improving skills, working efficiency, performing well in litigation activities, improving qualifications and adjudication capacity, and 100% of the judges in the unit publish legally effective judgments and decisions on the Court's electronic information portal.
In addition to professional work, the unit also seriously, legally and effectively deploys and implements other work activities such as: Organizing and arranging staff; receiving people, handling complaints and denunciations... continuing to maintain and promote social and charitable activities in many different forms.
Staff of the People's Court of Nhu Xuan district actively participated in voluntary blood donation organized by the district.
In 2023, the People's Court of Nhu Xuan district accepted 311 cases, with a resolution rate of 92%. Criminal cases were assessed as being tried correctly, with no wrongful convictions or being overturned or revised due to serious errors by the judge.
In the coming time, to further improve the quality of trial cases, the District People's Court sets the following goals: Speed up the progress and improve the quality of resolving and adjudicating all types of cases, ensure that court decisions are in accordance with the law, ensure justice, protect human rights and civil rights, improve the quality of litigation in court; minimize the number of cases that are annulled or amended due to subjective errors of judges; resolutely not let wrongful or incorrect cases go unpunished, not let criminals escape, and not let cases exceed the statutory time limit. Focus on doing a good job of mediation and resolving civil, family, commercial and labor cases; strengthen dialogue in the settlement of administrative cases; do a good job of political and ideological education to build a team of court officials and civil servants who are both red and professional.
