The summary report presented by Major General Nguyen Manh Hung, Political Commissar of the General Department of Logistics and Technology at the conference affirmed: In the period of 2021-2025, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the General Department of Logistics and Technology, Party committees and commanders of agencies and units in the General Department have paid attention to leading and directing the comprehensive and effective implementation of all aspects of policy work for the Army and the Army's rear.

Notably, the functional agencies of the General Department have closely followed the practical situation and requirements and tasks, actively and proactively researched, advised, proposed to issue regimes and policies on logistics and technology for the forces and guided and directed timely implementation, achieving good results.

Implement well policies for active forces; promotions, military rank increases, salary increases, salary group transfers, retirement, demobilization, and discharge for officers, military personnel, workers, defense officials, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers are carried out democratically, strictly, and in accordance with prescribed procedures and standards...

Actively participating in the "Repaying gratitude" movement, mobilizing many resources to carry out many practical activities, such as: Supporting relatives of martyrs working in the Army; taking care of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers; building the "Repaying gratitude" fund; supporting the construction of 250 gratitude houses, comrade houses, great solidarity houses, eliminating temporary houses, dilapidated houses; solving jobs for children of martyrs, wounded soldiers, seriously ill soldiers...

Concluding the conference, Lieutenant General Do Van Thien requested Party committees and commanders of agencies and units to continue to closely follow the requirements, tasks and practical situations, proactively research, develop programs and plans to fully and promptly implement the Party and State's policies and regimes for the Army and the Army's rear; well implement salary and allowance regimes; social insurance and health insurance policies; policies to serve the policy of building a lean, compact and strong Army; policies for forces on duty in strategic areas, remote areas, border areas, seas, islands, international areas...
