Ho Chi Minh City pays October pensions from today

According to the announcement of pension and social insurance allowance payment time for October 2024 of Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance, for those receiving money in cash, the usual payment time is from the 2nd of each month of payment; that is, the October payment period will start from October 2.

However, for those receiving money through personal accounts, Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance will transfer money into the beneficiary's account sooner, specifically starting from October 1, the beneficiary will receive monthly pension and social insurance benefits.

According to the HCM City Social Insurance, the insurance industry encourages beneficiaries to register to receive pensions through their accounts to avoid wasting time traveling and to receive pensions quickly and conveniently.

Currently in Ho Chi Minh City, there are nearly 260,000 people receiving monthly pensions and social insurance benefits.

Recently, Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance has actively communicated and popularized the advantages and benefits of receiving benefits through accounts with the spirit of encouraging beneficiaries to voluntarily participate.

Up to now, in the city, about 77.12% of beneficiaries have received social insurance and unemployment benefits through personal accounts, an increase of about 5.54% compared to 2023.
