Ho Chi Minh City ensures people receive gifts before National Day September 2

From now until September 2, Ho Chi Minh City will give gifts to all people, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day September 2.

On the evening of August 30, the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order (PC06), Ho Chi Minh City Police informed that, implementing the Prime Minister 's Official Dispatch No. 149 on giving gifts to people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, each citizen in Ho Chi Minh City will receive a gift worth 100,000 VND.

Gift recipients in Ho Chi Minh City include citizens with permanent residence in the city; citizens without permanent residence or temporary residence in the city; citizens with current residence only in Ho Chi Minh City (not registered for permanent or temporary residence); children with birth certificates but not yet registered for permanent residence in the city; Vietnamese people of undetermined nationality residing in Ho Chi Minh City.

To receive gifts, people can use the VNeID application to register, link with a bank account, and link with a social security account for direct transfers.

To support the people, Ho Chi Minh City Police have prepared a video instructing on how to use VNeID and encouraged people to register to receive gifts through this application to save time and procedures. In addition, people can also come directly to the People's Committees of communes, wards and special zones according to specific notices.

To spread the humanistic meaning of the program, Ho Chi Minh City Police coordinated with the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City, the Ho Chi Minh City Press Center and press agencies, radio and television, and loudspeaker systems of wards and communes to deploy many forms of propaganda: writing reports, sharing on social networks (Zalo, Facebook)...

Gift distribution in Ho Chi Minh City will be completed before September 2, 2025.
