Today is the first day workers return to work after the Lunar New Year holiday, so during their lunch break, many people have come to Tay Ho Temple to burn incense and pray for a peaceful and lucky new year (Photo: Manh Quan).

Khanh Huyen (25 years old) and her colleagues took advantage of the afternoon to travel more than 30 minutes from My Dinh to Tay Ho Palace to attend the first ceremony of the year.

Ms. Tran Thi Ve (Long Bien, Hanoi) said that every year, on the 6th day of the Lunar New Year, she often goes to Tran Quoc Pagoda, Tay Ho Palace to burn incense and pray for health, peace, family happiness, and successful children.

Mrs. Ve shared that going to the pagoda at the beginning of the year is a good custom of the nation, helping to brighten the mind, children going to the pagoda will learn the good things and the right reasons of Buddha's teachings.

Tran Quoc Pagoda was built during the reign of King Ly Nam De, is over 1,500 years old, and still retains its majestic architecture. This is also a familiar place for people to visit, sightsee, and take photos to capture beautiful moments next to the ancient pagoda during the early spring of the new year.
