Presented 400 gifts worth 260 million VND to students and families in difficult circumstances

Today, May 22, the Quang Tri Provincial Red Cross in coordination with the Hai Ba Trung District Red Cross, Hanoi City , and the Trieu Phong District Red Cross organized the giving of 400 gifts to students and families in difficult circumstances in Trieu Trach Commune, Trieu Phong District.

At the program, the organizing committee presented 200 gifts worth 600,000 VND/gift to students of Trieu Trach Primary School and 200 boxes of powdered milk, weighing 900g/box, and canned meat and supplements to 200 households in difficult circumstances, worth 700,000 VND/gift.

The total value of the gifts given this time is 260 million VND, mobilized by the Red Cross Society of Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi City.

This is one of the activities within the program "Nutrition for poor and disabled children" in 2024 deployed by the Vietnam Red Cross Society on the occasion of Humanitarian Month, to help students and disadvantaged families supplement their nutrition and improve their physical health.
