On the morning of September 20, the Light Up Dreams Scholarship Fund awarded 150 scholarships (worth 3 million VND/scholarship) to disadvantaged students in Quang Ngai who have made great efforts in their studies. The 11th Light Up Dreams Scholarship Award Program in 2025 was jointly implemented by the Quang Ngai Provincial Youth Union, Quang Ngai Radio and Television Station and the Light Up Dreams Scholarship Fund.
Of these, 100 scholarships are for primary and secondary school students; 50 scholarships are for high school students and ethnic minority students studying at Pham Van Dong University.
In addition, the Light Up Dreams Scholarship Fund also committed to supporting 30 students in especially difficult circumstances for 9 months of the 2025-2026 school year, with a support level of 1 million VND/month/student. The total cost of this scholarship award is more than 725 million VND.

Previously, the Light Up Dreams Scholarship Fund awarded scholarships worth 52 million VND to students in Nghia Hanh Commune, Tran Quoc Tuan High School and a poor new student in Binh Son Commune. On the occasion of Lunar New Year 2025, the fund also awarded hundreds of scholarships (total value of more than 400 million VND) to students and families in difficult circumstances in Quang Ngai province.
This time, the Light Up Dreams Scholarship Fund awarded more than 725 million VND to poor students in Quang Ngai.

Dr. Nguyen Thi Hai Hang, Director of the Vietnam Aviation Academy (representative of the Light Up Dreams Scholarship Fund), said that the predecessor of this fund was the Poet - Journalist Nguyen The Ky Scholarship Fund, founded by a group of friends who love Quang Ngai in Ho Chi Minh City. After 11 years of operation, the fund has awarded thousands of scholarships and hundreds of Tet gifts to poor students who have overcome difficulties, many of whom are children of ethnic minorities, with an average support amount of more than 500 million VND per year.
"We believe that each contribution is a small spark, and many sparks will together light up big dreams for poor students in Quang Ngai, so that no one is left behind," Dr. Nguyen Thi Hai Hang shared.
