Awarding more than 4.5 billion VND in Vallet scholarships to students

DNO - On August 28, at Nguyen Khuyen Secondary and High School (Da Nang), the "Meeting Vietnam" organization awarded 239 Vallet scholarships for 2025 to students in Da Nang city, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh and Phu Yen provinces (old).

This year, 192 students from 62 high schools and 47 students from 5 universities received Vallet scholarships. Each scholarship is worth 16 million VND for students and 36 million VND for university students; the total value awarded is 4,576 billion VND.

Students receiving scholarships are those who have achieved outstanding results in study and research, and have won international, national, provincial and city awards.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan said that the city leaders were grateful for the noble gesture and the attention and support of the "Meet Vietnam" Organization, Vallet Scholarship Fund, Professor Odon Vallet, Professor Tran Thanh Van for students of Da Nang in particular and Vietnam in general.

Da Nang City always pays attention to education so that students have a good learning environment. To invest better in education, the city needs support and attention from many other resources from organizations and individuals.

In the coming time, the city hopes that the Vallet Scholarship Fund will continue to accompany students, becoming an important goal for them to strive and excel in their studies and research. The city is committed to creating all favorable conditions for the "Meet Vietnam" Organization and the Vallet Scholarship Fund to carry out their activities in accordance with their principles and purposes.

The Vallet Scholarship was established through the voluntary contribution of Professor Odon Vallet (France). Through the organization “Meet Vietnam”, the scholarships are awarded to excellent young people in Africa, Vietnam and Vietnamese students in France. Since 2001, more than 55,000 scholarships with a total value of more than 500 billion VND have been awarded to students in Vietnam.
