Mr. Tran Hoang Tuan, former Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, awarded scholarships to students.

Accordingly, the Organizing Committee awarded 150 scholarships (VND 3 million/scholarship) to poor students who overcame difficulties to study well, students affected by Agent Orange and students with disabilities in the province. At the same time, VND 117 million in scholarship support for the 2025-2026 school year was awarded to 13 students with special circumstances (VND 1 million/student/month, sponsored for 9 months).

Each child's situation is a special story in life. A typical example is the case of Nguyen Gia Tue, grade 4 at Binh An Primary School, Binh Minh Commune. Tue has a serious illness and often has to go to the hospital for treatment. Ms. Tran Thi Tuong Vi, Tue's mother, said that she and her husband are both freelancers so their income is unstable. However, since Tue was diagnosed with the disease, she has had to take her child to the hospital every 2 weeks, so life has been very difficult.

Ms. Vi said: “This is a great source of encouragement, helping to share part of the living and medical expenses to help the family overcome difficulties. I would like to thank the sponsors and the Organizing Committee for giving Tue the scholarship. My family will make every effort to treat her and encourage her to study hard so as not to disappoint everyone's care and love.”

However, their children are always students who strive to excel in their studies. Therefore, these scholarships will contribute to "supporting" them to continue to make more efforts to become useful people for their families and society.

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province awarded Certificates of Merit to 3 individuals with outstanding achievements and active contributions to awarding "Lighting up dreams" scholarships to young people in Quang Ngai province.
