Awarding and posthumously conferring titles on 22 heroic Vietnamese mothers

On January 26, Quang Tri province held a ceremony to award and posthumously confer the state honorary title "Heroic Vietnamese Mother" to 22 mothers whose sons and husbands heroically sacrificed for the cause of national liberation and protection of the Fatherland.

Authorized by the President , the leaders of Quang Tri province awarded the title "Heroic Vietnamese Mother" to mother Ho Thi Neng, residing in A Doi commune, Huong Hoa district, and posthumously awarded this title to 21 mothers who passed away in Quang Tri.

Up to this point, in the golden list of the Fatherland's resistance against foreign invaders, 2,855 mothers of Quang Tri province have been awarded and posthumously awarded the noble title "Heroic Vietnamese Mother" by the state.

At the ceremony, Mr. Vo Van Hung, Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Tri province, expressed his admiration and infinite gratitude for the great losses and sacrifices of the heroic Vietnamese mothers, who devoted their loved ones to the independence of the nation, for the freedom and happiness of the people.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Tri province requested that Party committees at all levels, authorities, and socio -political organizations continue to promote the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source", pay more attention and care to policy families, especially pay special attention and care to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers.

At the same time, we should do a good job of educating the young generation to preserve and promote the traditions of their homeland, following the noble sacrifices of their fathers and heroic Vietnamese mothers to continue writing golden pages in the process of bringing the country forward.
