Displaying a series of rare works by many famous Vietnamese painters

People and tourists coming to Hanoi's Old Quarter on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of the Capital's Liberation Day will have the opportunity to admire many rare works by famous Vietnamese painters, many of which are being widely published in Vietnam for the first time.

With the theme "Beautiful Life", the exhibition is a special cultural activity organized by the Management Board of Hoan Kiem Lake and Hanoi Old Quarter in coordination with May Living Design Joint Stock Company on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2025) and the 100th anniversary of the opening of the first course of the Indochina College of Fine Arts (October 22, 1925 - October 22, 2025), now the Vietnam University of Fine Arts, towards the 20th anniversary of Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23, 2005 - November 23, 2025).

On the afternoon of September 29, the Organizing Committee said that the art exhibition "Beautiful Life" is one of the rare exhibitions that gathers a large number of rare works, many of which are being widely published in Vietnam for the first time. The exhibition aims to honor historical and cultural values, and arouse national pride. The event is not only a deep gratitude to generations of artists - those who laid the foundation for modern Vietnamese fine arts, but also a special spiritual gift for the art-loving public in the capital.

In addition to the works of artists who grew up at the Indochina College of Fine Arts, the exhibition also expands the creative space to the Resistance Course (1950 - 1954) and the courses after the restoration of peace of the Vietnam College of Fine Arts, aiming to give the public a more comprehensive view of modern Vietnamese fine arts.

Visitors will have the opportunity to admire the typical works of many great names such as: Nguyen Phan Chanh, Le Pho, Mai Thu, Vu Cao Dam, Tran Quang Tran, Nguyen Do Cung, Le Thi Luu, Tran Binh Loc, Nguyen Gia Tri, Luong Xuan Nhi, Nguyen Tien Chung, Hoang Tich Chu, Nguyen Van Truong, Nguyen Sang, Nguyen Tu Nghiem, Bui Xuan Phai, Van Giao, Luu Cong Nhan, Tran Luu Hau...

The exhibition is open to the public free of charge from October 1 to 26 at the exhibition space on the 1st and 2nd floors of the Ho Guom Cultural Information Center, 2 Le Thai To, Hoan Kiem Ward, Hanoi. However, the Organizing Committee notes that children under 10 years old are not allowed to visit the exhibition.
